Established in 2013 specifically to make a leap into Indonesia’s renewable energy sector with a particular focus on solar project development because the Government was preparing to launch it’s inaugural Feed in Tariff program for 140MW of licenses.
By 2015, the Solar FIT program was dramatically scaled back by to a meager allocation of 15MW of which only 8MW has been commissioned – 5 MW in Kupang by a state owned company and 3MW in by the SESNA project companies.
It is this historical and extraordinary success (by a private sector company) which makes SESNA stand out among the crowd of local solar developers.
